Dig-n-Pop Norwich Terriers
A home of small, energetic, clownish  charmers.
We dabble in whatever activities make me and the dogs happy to be doing together: conformation dog shows for some, agility for others, nosework and trick training enjoyed by all. We tried barnhunt and  earthdog with surprisingly limited success, not for the lack of trying. However, my dogs are excellent natural hunters catching rodents, birds and other small prey on a regular basis. This is an interesting juxtaposition.

Dignpop terriers work occasionally as models and actors as well.  We are busy and always learning something new.  Recently, Ruby completed service dog training to be my medical alert dog and it seems that her skills might not be needed after all. But what fun training time was!  Whatever we do together, it is our favorite time.
About Me
I am Magda Chiarella - a life-long dog lover, and in the last couple of decades a passionate Norwich Terrier aficionado. I have been living with these incredible terriers since year 2000: training and exhibiting in various dog sports, adoring them, as well as breeding under the prefix "Dignpop". My first Norwich Terrier litter was born in May of 2004 and a puppy from that first litter, the canine love of my life Ch. Dignpop Katest the Greatest OA NAJ CGC TDN is still at my side, now teaching me senior dog care.

I am forever seeking a better understanding of dogs' needs, and striving for a compassionate approach to dog breeding and sharing a life with canines. I express those thoughts as an author, publishing essays in various dog magazines, and as a blogger.

My Philosophy
In my mind, there is a very special, very rare synergy between a human, a dog and the laws of the universe (like the one that an energetic dog requires an energetic lifestyle). That synergy is my goal. It starts with an attentive dog breeding, followed by mindful and loving puppy raising, which leads to enjoyment of life with an adult dog all the way to a health-giving senior dog care.
